Chi Gong Yoga - 60 mins
This 60-minute class is a fusion of Chi Gong and Yoga, which focuses on energy and movements that generate positive effects to specific meridians in your body. The temperature of the room is 80 degrees. Chi Gong exercises are integrated into many of the basic postures of yoga. The classes range from easy to moderate with each student monitoring his or her individual level of comfort with every movement in each pose. Listen to your body and be conscious of how your body responds to the practice. You will find a mix of holding postures, to slow flow movement to energize your cells! Classes are taught by Reed Rahn, the creator of Chi Gong Yoga, who has been teaching yoga for 16 years and practicing Tai Chi off and on for more than 44 years. All levels.
Hot Yoga 26&2 Bikram - 50 mins
A 50-minute class taught in a 99-degree room, with 65% humidity, and features more strength building posture from the sequence of 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises (also known in the community as Bikram Yoga). This class has very little rest times the first half of class, We take a water break for 30 seconds. The second half has very little rest between postures, maybe 5 to 10 seconds tops! The name of this 60-minute class taught in an 80-degree room speaks for itself - Restorative. It is the centering of your breath and body - aligning the physical and mental by practicing stillness or gentle movement for extended periods of time. We'll use props to assist with holding the poses longer. When you are done, you will know peace. All levels.
Tai Chi - 90 mins
According to legend, T'ai Chi Ch'uan originated over a thousand years ago as a martial art by a Taoist priest. Its basic principle as a form of self-defense is that strength is not as important as the proper application of force. For hundreds of years, T'ai Chi Ch'uan was an elite form of self-defense and meditation, taught only within the Chen family. T'ai Chi Ch'uan became available to more students when Yang Cheng Fu began teaching his family form. The Tung Family has continued this tradition for over three generations and it is from their lineage that our T'ai Chi form originates. This is a beginning Tai Chi class come experience the magic! Yoga Sculpt - 60 mins
Our young fun hearted instructor Brittany Smith will lead this amazing class. You will increase your metabolism and define muscle mass as you listen to upbeat music. The class entails free weights with movements and cardio which will amplify the intensity of each asana or pose while increasing strength movement like lunges, squats, and bicep curls. Get ready to look amazing from this combination of exercises. Room at 99 degrees and 60 % humidity.
420 Partner Yoga, And Simple Stretch - 60 mins
We are bringing back 420 Partner Yoga, and Simple Stretch after noticing some students like to come to our yoga classes medicated. We recommend always bringing a partner not medicated or walking to class. As always there is no consumption of cannabis at the studio, or on the property for legal purposes. From the past classes, we found creating partner yoga, brought a new dynamic, to increased stretching, and making for fun light-hearted yoga classes. The class will be led by Brittany Smith, who has been teaching 420 YOGA. Also, you don't need to consume cannabis to come to the class, everyone is welcome with a partner or without a partner. All levels.
There is no participation of ingesting or smoking cannabis in the yoga studio, as we know it is illegal to smoke or ingest in any public area in Arizona. We ask you not to bring any cannabis into the studio, just keep the space safe from any illegal activity. Best to show up 20 minutes early. Every student must sign a release, stating you are responsible for yourself with your own practice. It is recommended to come with a friend that is not consuming the cannabis, or sharing Uber or Lyft with other fellow yogis and yoginis for transportation. If you live close by you can always walk and help save our world. All levels.
